The Process

As an independent office, Gateway Retirement’s sole aim is to help you build the retirement of your dreams. Since we’re an independent office, we’re able to focus on making commitments to your goals rather than pushing sales.

During your retirement planning process there are often things the average person will overlook: things you might not even know you’re missing out on—what we call “unknown unknowns.”

To illustrate this, we use a simple visual in our meetings: a bucket with band-aids on it. This might seem silly, but this bucket represents your retirement plan, and the band-aids are there to show the possible gaps. We then ask, ”Would you rather we help you find and fix these gaps, or do you want to figure them out on your own?”

We believe that the more you know, the better your decisions will be. What do you think? Are you ready to be informed?
